Camino del Norte Mission Tour

Discover Our Mission Tours

We invite you to experience the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of New Mexico through our Capilla Mission Church Open House Tours.

These historic capillas (small mission chapels) are a treasured part of New Mexico’s Spanish colonial tradition. Built and sustained by local communities over generations, they reflect a deep devotion to the Catholic faith and the enduring strength of New Mexican Spanish culture.

During the open house, visitors will have the opportunity to explore these sacred spaces, learn about their history, and discover the traditions that have shaped faith and community life in the region for centuries.

Our capillas stand as living symbols of devotion, perseverance, and cultural identity. From traditional architecture and sacred art to stories of the families who built and cared for these chapels, each capilla offers a unique glimpse into New Mexico’s spiritual heritage.

Donations are strongly encouraged and deeply appreciated. Contributions help support the ongoing upkeep, preservation, and maintenance of these historic and sacred capillas so they may continue to serve as places of faith, history, and community for generations to come.

We welcome everyone—locals, visitors, and pilgrims alike—to come experience the beauty, history, and faith that continue to inspire our communities today.
