When are the capillas open for the Camino del Norte Mission Tour?
The capillas will be open on the fourth Saturday of each month, beginning April through September.
The final open house of the season will take place on October 10th.
Open house hours are 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM on the designated dates.
Is there a fee?
There is no admission fee to visit the capillas. However, donations are strongly encouraged and greatly appreciated. Contributions help support the maintenance, preservation, and upkeep of these historic and sacred capillas.
Why are we hosting the Camino del Norte Mission Tour?
The Camino del Norte Mission Tour invites the public to visit historic capillas throughout Northern New Mexico. By opening these chapels, we welcome visitors to experience these spiritual and historical centers, learn about their significance, and discover these hidden gems of New Mexico’s Spanish and Catholic heritage.
Is there Wi-Fi? Is there restrooms?
No, there is no Wi-Fi, and cell phone service may be limited in many areas.
There are no restroom facilities available at the capillas.
Are pictures allowed?
Pictures are allowed outside only.
Photography is not permitted inside the capillas out of respect for these sacred spaces.
How can donations be made?
Donations may be made in person during the open house.
We accept cash or check only.
Checks can be made payable to “Holy Family Parish.”
