First Holy Communion is a 2-year program

Classes start Sunday, August 15th, 2021

Registration forms are at the Parish office.

Registration deadline September 3rd, 2021

Children must attend Mass and class (presential or/and Zoom)

First Holy Communion I candidates will learn their prayers and study the Gospel.

First Holy Communion II candidates will prepare them to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation first then to receive the Holy Eucharist.

ATTENDANCE FROM CLASS:

Parents must call Coordinators (614-4166) if the child is sick or they need to be out of town, etc.

Too many days absent and if you cannot drop off or pick up your child on time your child will need to make up the year.

TARDINESS:

Class begins at 8:40 and and ends at 9:50 am. Be on time!

ATTENDING MASS:

If your child attends another Catholic Mass bring a bulletin signed by the Priest/Deacon.

Make sure your child gets the Mass sheet signed by the Priest.

Make sure that your child hands in their Mass sheet at the beginning of the month.

PRAYER:

Pray with your child daily. Children learn by example. You are their first teacher.

FOLDERS:

Folders need to be brought to class every time.

Parents need to look into their child´s folder for important information or to discuss the worksheets they have worked on.

HOLY FAMILY CORO:

We have the Holy Family Coro "Santo Niño". Your child will be assigned to have the Holy Family for a week.

You and your family will be able to pray daily for a week.
